They have to travel long distances to fetch water, and even then, the water is not clean. This leads to the spread of water-borne diseases and other health issues. The lack of access to clean water also means that the villagers cannot practice good hygiene, which further exacerbates their health problems. The construction of the water well and pipes is, therefore, a crucial step in addressing this issue and improving the quality of life of the villagers." - Leader Bahati Nehema
