CHALLENGES
"The surrounding villages do not have access to clean and safe drinking water. The lack of access to clean water is a huge issue that affects the health and well-being of the villagers. They have to travel long distances to fetch water, and even then, the water is not clean. This leads to the spread of water-borne diseases and other health issues. The lack of access to clean water also means that the villagers cannot practice good hygiene, which further exacerbates their health problems. The construction of the water well and pipes is, therefore, a crucial step in addressing this issue and improving the quality of life of the villagers." - Leader Bahati Nehema
POTENTIAL IMPACT
"By constructing a water well and building water pipes, we can provide a steady water supply and save people from the arduous, time-consuming, and life-threatening task of walking long distances to fetch water with jerry cans. This will have a significant positive impact on the community's health and well-being." - Leader Bahati Nehema
